Current Concepts in Hygiene

Janis Spiliadis is an international clinician with over 35 years of experience practicing in Switzerland , Greece , Saudi Arabia and the United States. Janis received her degree in dental hygiene from Palm Beach State College where she continues to act as a speaker, mock board examiner and student liaison. In 2007, Janis obtained her Hygienist Dentaire Independent Certification from the Croix Rouge Suisse, allowing her to practice as an independent in Switzerland. Mrs. Spiliadis has served served as a delegate to the Florida Dental Hygiene Association for 3 years, while serving locally on the Palm Beach County Dental Hygiene Association in many positions, including President – elect and Vice President. Janis has also served as a member of the Struamann Hygiene Advisory Board. Fluent in French, Janis has organized and presented on the importance of oral cancer screenings in Switzerland and in the United States. She is very passionate about teaching subgingival biofilm removal with Air – flow *and Piezo technology and sharing products and techniques advances with other clinicians.
