Social Media: The New Standard in Dental Education?

Dr. Jon Rogers completed his undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University. He completed his dental degree at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he received the Academy of Osseointegration’s Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry award. He has given implant prosthodontics lecture presentations to various groups and organizations and is a core faculty member of Restorative Driven Implants, a dental implant educational continuum. He is a member of numerous dental professional organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry and Academy of Osseointegration. Along with Dr. Wes Mullins, Dr. Rogers founded The Dental Guys, a podcast focused on clinical dentistry, dental research, and product reviews. After 5 years and over 100 episodes, the podcast has become dentistry’s premier clinical podcast, focusing on translating the newest and best evidence-based information into a format that is understandable and usable in daily practice.
